All donations are tax deductible. All funds go to the Willie the Wildcat Scholarship Fund until our yearly goal is met. After that goal has been met, we donate the excess to Cats Cupboard.

  • Depending on the amount, the primary funds go to the Shepard Rader Foundation Willie the Wildcat Scholarship Fund, part of the Ahearn Fund at Kansas State University. After reaching our yearly goal amount for the scholarship, we donate the excess funds to another charity on campus. For 2024, that charity is Cats Cupboard.

  • Yes. The Shepard Rader Foundation Willie the Wildcat Scholarship Fund is a tax exempt 501(c)3 charitable organization and all donations are tax deductible.

  • Unfortunately, no. The IRS does not allow tax deductions for raffle ticket purchases.

  • So many ways! You can donate, purchase a raffle ticket, share our mission and raffle links on your social media, donate items for auction or donate your time.

  • No, although we are part of the Ahearn Fund, in order to contribute toward your own Ahearn Fund membership and benefits you must join Ahearn separately.
